Sina Control Meter Tubes are fabricated in accordance with ISO 5167 requirements and several construction cods such as ASME 31.3, ASME 19.5. Our Meter runs are straight, unobstructed upstream and downstream pipe sections that incorporate the primary measuring flowing gas. The meter tube “smoothes out” turbulence, often a condition that measurement of flowing media. The meter tube helps assure that the meter provides as consistent measurement accuracy. We normally recommend this type of meter where measuring small flows and the fluid temperature prohibits the use of integral orifice assemblies or where the accuracy of the integral orifice assembly is insufficient. Also, to ensure that the correct piping is used regard to roundness, roughness and that the effects of welding are minimized.
